As most of the Mediterranean cities, Barcelona has also an opening schedule that breaks around lunch time and it restarts in mid-afternoon, at about 4.00 PM.

Besides the outlet and shopping centers, there are many brand stores, especially for women, that can be found all over central Barcelona, but a plus is given by the open markets that will delight you with the fresh food flavors, traditional spices, antiquities and clothes.

When it comes to going out and nightlife, Barcelona becomes divided between its districts and there is a wide variety of bars, restaurants and clubs to choose from. However, the real nightlife in Barcelona begins after midnight and it never finishes before 6.00 a.m. During summer, you may want to check one of the numerous beach bars and clubs, but also the outdoor cafes and restaurants spread all over the city’s squares, but probably the most crowded and popular place for young people is the district of Example, no matter the season!
